Communities of faith and hope are built to sustain all its members --whether a congregation or a nation.  Our bounteous nation was founded to give prosperity and hope to all how came to its shores.  At all levels of social interaction we still pursue this dream if we keep the faith, if we share the good news of God’s love.  

Cynicism, hate and indifference are the destroyers of hope, love and even of nations.  The sermon today takes a look at how Christ chose to spread his light despite all the circles of haters and destroyers of the spirit, and how we can find love and acceptance in his world.
